The bill improved the juridical provision of the operative-investigatory activity and pre-trial investigation in the Security Service and Ministry on Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Thus the amendments were introduced to clause 112 of the Criminal-Procedural Code that derive to the jurisdiction of the Security Service cases on crimes, envisaged by clause 265-1 ("Illegal production of nuclear explosive item or radioactive materials") of the Criminal Code and at the same time withdraw from the jurisdiction of the of the investigatory bodies of Security Service of Ukraine cases on crimes envisaged by clause 294 ("Mass disturbances") of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and transfer them to the jurisdiction of the internal affairs bodies.
